Daniel is the Pastor of Evangelism and Discipleship (with a focus on children, youth, and young adults) at Church of the Messiah and the Team Leader and preacher for Church on Wednesday at the University of Ottawa.
He also serves as a speaker for Strength to Fight, building a porn-free Canada, and is a facilitator for Voice Found, equipping adults to protect kids from sexual abuse.
Daniel speaks regularly at conferences, camps, and schools on leadership, justice, sexual abuse, purity, and the Bible. He works with Voice Found which equips parents to protect kids from sexual abuse and is a passionate advocate against human trafficking. He also serves on the board of National Campus Life Network, which trains prolife university students across Canada to end abortion.
Daniel worked as a Communications and Parliamentary assistant to Members of Parliament for seven years. He also served as the director of the Parliament Hill Christian Fellowship, a networking lunch and Bible study for Canadian political staff across partisan and denominational lines. He also served on the planning committee of the National Prayer Breakfast which annually brings together more than 700 Senators, Members of Parliament and Christian leaders from across Canada for prayer.
Daniel has an MA in History from the University of Ottawa, a BA in History and Philosophy, and is completing an M.Div. at Ryle Seminary. He has worked with MoveIn for five years, living and serving among the urban poor in Ottawa.
