1. The Gospel shapes your singularity. Your singularity does not shape the Gospel.

  2. The Gospel creates a counter-culture, and this counter-culture will sometimes seem weird to the dominant culture.

  3. The Gospel shapes your heart to care about the poor. Caring about the poor does not shape the Gospel.

  4. The Gospel shapes what it means to be “King.” Being “King” does not shape the Gospel.

  5. Jesus Christ crucified is the true King. As we live in the kingdoms of this world, He leads His redeemed people to live under His rule, in His kingdom, to His glory.
